Writers' Room is a game for the collaborative creation of narratives in the form of a fictional tv series, movie, novel, musical, stage play, or other medium - anything that can be used to tell a story.

Players take turns adding to the themes, plots, and cast, as well as putting in details about specific scenes like bits of dialogue or striking visuals.

A single session is enough to sketch out a short tv series of 4-7 episodes or a single movie or novel.

The rules are inspired by Ben Robbins, but uses simpler turn taking and a more defined structure to reflect the narrative conceits of a tv series or other created narrative.

There are variants for solo play, various act structures, and studio interference, as well as pick lists to get you started quickly.
